This is the famous El Farolito restaurant in El Rito. It doesn't look like much from the outside (or the inside, either) but the food is good and it really is famous. It has been written up in Roadfood, the New York Times, Travel and Leisure magazine and others. We had a pretty good lunch here. link to article

We visited the "Aztec Ruins" National Monument. This area, which has absolutely nothing to do with the Aztecs, is in the northwest part of New Mexico, near Farmington.
