Oh did we have an adventure getting to Kinsale. Late at night, in the rain, with no streetlights, we thought the boat ramp next to the Trident hotel was the way to get into the parking lot. This picture was taken from our room the next morning.

The road that goes by the hotel and past these colorful houses is what passes for a main road.

This was the start of our realization that colors in Ireland are somehow different.

There is work to be done.

Apparently, there is also time for leisure.

We had a little time to explore Kinsale on foot.

This was the first of many streets shared by two-way traffic and pedestrians.

This glass in the back of the church looks broken to me. I suppose that means it is "artistic."

Patricia was taken with these flowers as we walked down the high street.

Coincidentally, Patricia and I took pictures of the same place because the name caught our eyes. Indeed, it is possible to get a lot of fish in restaurants here.

So many castles they can use some of them for office buildings.

Almost all of the road signs were in Gaelic and English. We spent a lot of time on R600. Not all of it was on purpose.
