We stayed at the Loch Lein Country House just outside Killarney for a couple of nights. This is the view from the front drive.

It was a pretty comfortable place. the season was sinding down and there were not a lot of guests. We had plenty of time to speak with the hosts.

We drove to Valentia Island. We don't know how old these ruins are.

An old cemetery on Valentia Island.

We recognized the Celtic cross, but not the symbol in the center. There must be a way to find something about it, but I don't know where to start.

We tried to drive up to this cemetery which seemed much older than the we were standing in but the rain had started and it didn't seem like a great idea.
