There are ravens all over the complex. They are well taken care of and, I believe, they think they own the place.

Abby, by this point, was convinced these two ravens were speculating about having her for brunch. She was not going to get any closer.

We were fortunate that there were not a lot of people in the complex on Friday.

At the entrance to the British Museum. We could have spent days there.

It was still cool at 12:30 when we arrived at the museum.

The Great Courtyard has changed dramatically since I was last here more than 20 years ago.

It was busy, but not too crowded.

The exhibit halls are filled with collections "acquired" over centuries.

As Abby noted, this is remarkably well preserved.

Abby next to the original Rosetta Stone. It was found by the French and ended up with the British. It is enclosed in glass / acrylic, hence the reflections.

This is time-worn, but impressive.

I wonder if this is really old (I forgot to take a note) because I notice it seems to be before the use of cartouches.
