Some parts of Kinsale are not as restored as other parts.
When we left Kinsale, we stopped at the Drombeg Stone Circle. It was an interesting site.

Staigue Fort. This is a defensive stone circle. Many still exist in Ireland.
In fact, here is another stone fort that we saw from the road.
And yet another stoen fort. This one is a little more elaborate--note the internal stone structure. It is called Cahergal Stone Fort. There is supposed to be a small ferry from Knight's Town to this area BUT THERE WASN'T, which cause a good deal of backtracking.
Ballycarbery Castle isn't in good enough condition to allow people to explore it.
