We strated doing Facetime reading sessions with Claire and Kate in April. These are some of the books we started with. Now, Claires can read a lot by herself, so storytimes are even more fun.
New Mexico lockdown orders meant we stayed pretty close to home all year. That gave us the opportunity to focus on local wildlife.
I was able to get extra good detail on this picture from the 1st of May. I used a new sharpening tool to enhance the image a little.

We did not have as many butterflies as usual in 2020. We are still in the midst of a drought and that may have something to do with the lack.

Festival Flamenco Albuquerque could not be held in-person in 2020. Everything was streamed. We set up tapas at home to watch the first night. Most of teh streaming performances were very good. [I'm on the board of directors for the National Institute of Flamenco (NIF) that puts on the festival.]
Early morning sky on June 14th. That day turned out to be my mother's last birthday.
Not only did we not get much snow, we also received very little rain. Mostly what we saw was virga.
But June 14th was an exception and we got just over an inch of rain.
