2022 - Savannah

We visited Savannah, Georgia, in September to meet with Steven's siblings for a few days.
We took a walking tour of Savannah's Historic district.
The group was a good size. To start, our guide gave us background on the founding of the city.
John Wesley played a part in the early history but he was "invited" to leave the city.
The guide thought the influence of Wesley / Methodism may have been exaggerated. He said there was a wide diversity of religions in Savannah.
Patricia, Ka-Yi, and Tom crossing a bridge near the restored commercial area.
Warehouses are below street level and the factoring office are above them. The river is to the right, behind the buildings.
The top of city hall
I am unable to figure out what the statue is, but it is in a nice setting.
The cotton exchange looks old, but was built in 1886. It is now the Freemason's hall.
One must imagine the hustle and bustle when this was a commercial area. at 10:00 this morning, it is pretty quiet.
I was trying to capture the light going through the spray.
