I liked the doors on this somewhat decaying building across the plaza from the museum. See the wire mesh over most of the front? That is there to keep pieces from falling on people.

Vimos flamenco a El Cardenal en Córdoba. WE saw flamenco at El Cardenal. It was a good recommendation from our hotel, Patio del Posadero.

The cantaora was very good.

The guitarra was tremendously talented. Note that after the first cancion (song) they brought the lights up which made it much easier to take pictures.

Esta pieza fue hecha para "pregunta mi sombrero", un garrotin. The palo (style) was a garrotine. One line in the song is "Ask my hat." (It's traditional. It doesn't have to make sense!) You can see that we had really good seats, just one row back from the stage.

We saw some great work with the mantón.

I was surprised to be able to capture the motion/flow of the mantón (shawl).

I really like this picture because it is just slow enough to blur the motion and fast enough to see through to the dancer.

Tradicional estilo flamenco He danced in the tradition style. Very precise motions done with power and grace.
