On the way to Spain, we passed over the Rockies, probably in Colorado

Our Airbnb in Jerez was in an apartment complex about a mile from the old town.

The apartment was spacious, light, and clean.

It was very comfortable.

We walked to the part of Jerez we remembered from 2017 many times.

Even though it was only late February, this tree had many flowers.

Patricia pasó por esta tienda 10 veces antes de entrar. The store was near our apartment.

Mercado Central en Jerez (en su mayoría peces). The central market in Jerez had a lot of stalls selling seafood.

The market is not open every day and it was busy on this Saturday.

Even though it was pretty cool, there was outdoor flamenco. At this restaurant, the flamenco had nothing to do with the festival.

En peña flamenca Los Cernícalos. A peña is a club. Today, it was open to everyone as part of the festival.

All of the artists were local and well-known. Most of the audience was local, too.

Peña flamenca Buena Gente se encuentra en una zona de construcción. This pena was in a construction zone, and hard to find.

We sampled a local stew (guiso) and waited for the performance at the peña Buena Gente. The man across from Patricia was a guitarra from Extremadura, Spain.

¡El área de flamenco estaba demasiado llena! The performance are was very crowded by the time we manged to get in.
