Shortly after arriving in Seville, we returned to a favorite restaurant near the Cathedral. You can see part of the Cathedral over the wall at the end of the street.
We each had our favorite pizza at the restaurant.
This four-cheese pizza may be the best in Spain. It was worth sitting in the cold and wind to eat this.
We stayed in barrio (neighborhood) de Santa Cruz. There are lots of churches in this very old part of Seville.
The false front of this church is much less imposing from the side. This is the Parroquia de Santa Cruz.
There are also many tile murals in the area.
This building, which looks like it was once a church, is the headquarters of Manos Unidas. It is near the Catedral de Sevilla.
El Divino de Salvador. This church is in the baroque style and is very elaborate inside. We stayed right around the corner on our first visit to Seville.
La Giralda. ¡Mira! ¡El cielo esta claro! The Giralda was originally a Muslim minaret, and was converted for Christian use.
The Catedral de Sevilla has been undergoing restoration for years. The changes on the outside are startling.
We visited Casa de la Guitarra for some flamenco. After all, it had been 2 days since the last espectaculo.
The guitarra was quite good.
The cantaor was also good.
But the bialora was not interested and danced indifferenly.

Esta antigua muralla en la Calle Agua estaba justo al lado de nuestro apartamento. This old wall is in Calle Agua (water street) right next to our apartment. The royal gardens are on the other side of the wall.

La parte izquierda está en mejores condiciones que la parte derecha. The dichotmy of the two halves of the building caught my eye--unless, possibly, they are really two buildings VERY close toghther.
