In June we took a trip up the "Sunshine Coast" in British Columbia

There wasn't much sunshine, but we enjoyed the trip. We also watched our part of Seattle change from Spring to Summer.
We started planning for an Alaska cruise.. This is the ship on which we will travel leaving Seattle.
We took a trip to British Columbia to tour the "Sunshine Coast." Here I am waiting for the ferry at Horseshoe Bay.
This was the first time we had driven on to a ferry. We were going from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale.
Looking at Howe Sound from the ferry. Are you getting the idea that there may not be too much sun on the Sunshine Coast?
The small marina at Langdale. The rain has let up for a bit.

Four Winds on the southern end of the Strait of Georgia. [No, neither of the other Georgias.]
A ferry arriving at Earls Cove. The rain is back.
On the ferry from Earls Cove to Saltery Bay. We were on our way to Powell River.

Lund is all the way at the end of Highway 101. This is the northern-most part of the Sunshine Coast. I'm sure the sun will make an appearance before we leave.
We stayed at the Desolation Sound Resort, out side of Lund.

You can see how well the Sunshine Coast was living up to its reputation for warm sunny weather.
