We took a train from Seville to Granada-partway, at least. Due to a railway construction project that may never finish, we took a one-hour bus ride from Antequera to Granada. We saw scenary like this on the way.

When we visited the Alhambra, it was rainy and windy. We had a great time huddled under an umbrella with one of the guards waiting to get into the Nasrid palaces.
El Palacio de Carlos V. There is an outstanding museum of Granada / Alhambra in the palace. But, NO PICTURES WERE ALLOWED! What a shame!

As far as I could tell, the Arabic script was the same on all 4 sides. I am pretty sure that the left half of each word (read from right to left) is "Allah."
¡El agua reflectante no se refleja! The reflecting pool is not reflecting today.

If the reflecting pool won't reflect, I will make my own reflection.
