This ceiling has been restored.

We could probably compute how fast the drops were falling since they leave a little bit of a trail at 1/3200 second shutter speed.

It almost looks as if these decorations are dripping down (En La Sala de los Reyes)

Combine low clouds, a dark hillside, and clever lighting, and you have a great picture of the Alhambra and buildings along the Daro river. This was taken with my cell phone!

This picture gives a good idea of how close we were, as the crow flies, to the Alhambra. The reality of actually getting there was different. It was taken from a restaurant patio close to our apartment.
