Arrival in Casablanca--we were so excited.
Sacred Heart Cathedral in Casablanca. A closer look showed us that it was run down and in need of repair.
Hassan II Mosque. It is the 3rd largest mosque in Islam.
Hassan II mosque can hold 25, 000 people inside.
Another 80, 000 people can gather outside.

I can't imagine what this guard was protecting against.
The minerets in Morocco are square, not round as in Turkey. This one is at the Mausoleum of Mohammed V complex.
