April May June

Trips to Phoenix and Las Vegas, archeology in New Mexico and flamenco in Albuquerque.
In April we drove to Phoenix to see Noah's musical performance.
Hannah was there too.
Noah looked like he enjoyed the performance
In early May we watched the end-of-year review of flamenco students at el Flamenco.
We had bluebirds living in our spruce tree in the patio. They raised a brood (?) of three in 2018. This parent was watching the 3 little ones as they explored…
Too young to fly...
On a drive to Las Vegas in May, we stopped at Homolovi State Park, which has a nice visitor center and interesting ruins.
Ruins at Homolovi archeological site.
I didn't see any distinctive pottery at Homolovi
We spent a few days with Kate, Jeff, Abby, and Claire.
While in Las Vegas, we attended Abby's school recital.
As we often do when in Las Vegas, we visited Springs Preserve. There was an Ice Cream Festival and Abby at (at least) her her share.
The butterfly garden at Springs Preserve is very nice and has many kinds of butterflies.

I'm not quite sure what Claire has in her right hand.
There is a bee in the vicinity.
Abby and her cousin Taylor played as mermaids in Greg and Stephanie's pool.
Patricia with Abby and her cousin Ethan.
I celebrated? oberved?, suffered? my 70th birthday in Las Vegas
Kate had plenty of ammunition to help me "enjoy" the day.
