July August September

Big hailstorm in July. Local (really close) flooding.
July 4th was Patricia's birthday.
Early July sunset with virga.
Early morning shadows in the courtyard.
Not a stick, but a "walking stick" bug (Phasmatodea)
Pretty flowers in the courtyard.
We had another hailstorm in July. This one dumped even more water and hail than the one in June.
The ice was almost to the top of the step into the house.
There was so much rain that the nearby arroyo ran That happens very infrequently.
The arroyo was scoured clean and in some places the water reached about 6 feet deep.
The water left patterns on the bed of the arroyo.
The force of the water damaged these drainpipes (about 5 feet high) and pushed a lot of debris onto the road above.
Everything in the planter grew very well.
Interesting cloud patterns.
I wonder where the red color came from.
I took this picture on July 28th. I have no clue what it is. Any ideas?
Monsoon-season clouds in August.
I visited my mother in Belvidere in August.
Mark, my mother, Mary, and me.
Mid-August signals chile-roasting time at the Farmers' market and elsewhere in New Mexico.
These look like grapes on the wall of the Chez Mamou French Bakery and Cafe in downtown Santa Fe. I wasn't about to try one to find out, though.
