Interesting flower vase
We visited the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga (Ancient Art, but I would call it Fine Art) and saw an outstanding collection of paintings, sculptures, and metal work.
With people for scale you will see how large these paintings are. This is the “Retablo del Monasterio de la Santísima Trinidad” (Altarpiece from the Monastery of the Holy Trinity), by García Fernandes 1537
I think that much of the art had been well restored. The colors were simply brilliant. This is the Holy Trinity,with the 4 evangelists in the corners.
