Linda and Larry came for a short visit and we all went to the Pecos National Monument
We get evening skies like this on a regular basis.
You can't make this stuff up.
Barbara came for a visit in the middle of August. Here she is shopping at the Plaza.
At the monument in the Plaza.
While Barbara was here we drove up to Taos. We stopped at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge.
Looking down into the gorge. It is 650 feet down to the river.
The Rio Grande Gorge Bridge is a cantilever truss bridge.
We stopped at an overlook on the way back from Taos.
We also stopped at San José de Gracia Church in Las Trampas. It was built between 1760 and 1776.
We stopped at El Santuario de Chimayó.
We ate breakfast one morning at the Tesuque market which is north of Santa Fe.
While Patricia was in West Linn, I took a quick trip to Bandelier National Monument up by Los Alamos.
Another pretty evening sky in mid-September.
The New Mexico wildlife can be pretty scary.
Steven's parents visited Santa Fe after our trip to Las Vegas. We all went out to Pecos National Monument one day.
