In January we took quick trips to visit our families in West Linn and Las Vegas.
We also took a brief trip to one of the Salinas Pueblo Missions at Quarai. In February, Patricia took a trip to Arizona.

Is is still winter in Santa Fe, but things still grow inside.
We took a side trip to the Santuario de Chimayo in search of tamales and discovered a newly renovated chapel there.

We took a trip to the Quarai ruins which are a part of the Salinas Pueblo Mission. (information about the National Historical Monument there)

There was still color on the vegetation even though the leaves were all gone.
I have said it before but there is no sky like the New Mexico sky.
The ruins are pretty isolated.
