Alexandar the Great "suggested" that a city should be built here There is a great deal of work being done on this site which is also in the city of Izmir. This used to be under a parking lot and other buildings There was also a graveyard over the site Waiting to be placed Smyrna was a business hub and we are headed into its office buildings (the basilica, not a church) Some of the site is easy to access Looking up to the [current] ground level IstanbulSardis
