Saturday in old Galway.
the open air market around St. Nicholas church in Galway was pretty sparse.
There was a lot of seafood, however.
You can see that it was a bit nippy as we walked around.
St Nicholas (yes, that St. Nick) church has wonderful stained glass. No one is certain when building of the church started, but it was finished in 1320.
These represent the four apostles who wrote the gospls.
This "tomb" of a Templar was brought back from Malta after the Crusades.
Thirteen families ran Galway for a long time. I think these are called "devices."
