A trip to Andalucía that starts with the Festival de Flamenco in Jerez

We enjoyed our visit to Jerez for the Flamenco festival in 2017 so much that we are going again in February, 2018.

This visit allows us to return to some places we like very much.  We will visit Madrid, Jerez, Seville, Granada, and Córdoba in Andalucía. This year we will stay a couple of nights in Sanlúcar de Barrameda for the first time. We made a short visit there in 2017, but we will have time to explore on this trip. If we can fit it in, we plan to take a day trip from Madrid to Segovia, a city I last visited more than 20 years ago.

For just the festival in Jerez, we have 18 music performances scheduled during our 8 days in town. Some of them begin as late (as early?) as midnight, so I don’t expect to be posting every day. I’ll do what I can to post pictures and let you know what we are up to while on the trip, but probably not every day.

You can see our music itinerary for the trip, look at a calendar, check out the pictures and posts, all under this heading.
