A trip to Andalucía and Lisbon
We plan to visit the Andalucía and Lisbon to listen to lots of music.
Again this year we will mostly stay in Airbnb apartments, which allows us to pack less and often saves money over a hotel.
This visit allows us to return to some places we like very much. We will visit Madrid, Seville, and Córdoba in Andalucía. This year we will visit Jerez for the first time. It will be hosting a flamenco festival while we are there and we look forward to seeing/hearing lots of flamenco. If we can fit it in, we plan to take a day trip from Madrid to Segovia, a city I last visited more than 20 years ago. We are also going to spend 5 days in Lisbon. We like fado music so we have several late-night fado performances lined up.
So far, we have almost 20 music performances scheduled. Some of them begin as late (as early?) as midnight, so I don’t expect to be posting every day. I’ll do what I can to post pictures and let you know what we are up to while on the trip, but probably not every day.
